Previous Matches

The matchplay event between IPAGS and NAGS (Newspapers & Advertisers’ GS) ran for the first time in June 2011. The 2 societies have always had a close, friendly relationship and indeed there are a number of IPAGS members who are also members of NAGS .
The idea for the match (which had long been mooted) was to have a friendly, competitive 36 hole match play event.

The format is 4 ball better ball in the morning; Greensomes played after lunch

At the inaugural 2011 event played at Royal Mid Surrey the 8 man IPAGS team beat the NAGS by 4 1/2 to 3 1/2
